Has good instincts, something a LB needs. And he looks like he'd be an outstanding FB if he'd be willing to play on offense.

-PhoenixAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440694009017367434.post-31079667739396988082015-03-30T20:02:26.359-04:002015-03-30T20:02:26.359-04:00The competition level is not great. However, he does have pretty impressive film.Thunderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09708792562446136381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440694009017367434.post-22777481001546086242015-03-30T19:58:35.855-04:002015-03-30T19:58:35.855-04:00I agree on Felton. I do think most of them have a good enough track record of bringing in guys they can work with to get the job done. When it comes to athleticism, I think there are hundreds of guys who can get the job done year in and year out. It's a matter of who's going to accept the coaching, work hard, etc.

I don't see the guys you mentioned as being outstanding athletes. So maybe when the coaches have done their digging, they found a little nugget they like more than some other guys or just as well as some of the superior athletes.

All that being said, I'm not a huge fan of the Reese offer because I think he's limited. Gil is another guy who I don't think is a great athlete, but I think he's a solid, aggressive player. I think Kolwich might be one of those in-state sleepers that not many people have talked about much. As I mentioned above, I am surprised that he did not have more offers at an earlier juncture. The recent offers from Michigan and Missouri do not surprise me a ton. It seems like interior linemen are often lower-rated guys who don't get a ton of attention, but the Kolwich kid can play low, he's strong, and he's aggressive. Michigan needs linemen in the 2016 class, and I really have no problem with them going after a homegrown kid while also pursuing some elite-level talents outside the state.Thunderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09708792562446136381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440694009017367434.post-22924200149555850972015-03-30T19:50:19.879-04:002015-03-30T19:50:19.879-04:00Banks supposedly ran a 4.51 at a recent camp, so t...Banks supposedly ran a 4.51 at a recent camp, so that's probably a more accurate number.

Agreed on the coaching/football instincts of Sandy Creek's players. He is a blazer, really sees the seams, can highpoint a ball, catch it while being interfered with and has some shake.

I also like his coaching staff as I don't think i've ever seen more guys come back, play after play after play, to make just crushing blocks legally in an effort to spring somebody. Way impressive.

I also liked #6 in the Blue helmet who got beat, but then ran with and caught Banks from behind at around 4 mins. He's probably a 4.22.Roanmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12858054909964637938noreply@blogger.com
