Looking at the names and seeing who made it and who didn't I sometimes think "wow, Carr had a good eye for talent as so many of our kids made the NFL while most of the others never got close," and think Carr was either good, or lucky, or both. Then I think twice and wonder how many of the kids we didn't take could have developed into NFL talent with the right football education and environment in college.

    Bryant signed with BC in 2003, went to prep school, and signed with Purdue the next year.
