  1. Uggh. Not a strong group - one star, a handful of good/decent players and that's it. At least this is better than the 2005 debacle (though i thought "F lion" Slocum was part of that class, not this one).

Do you mind if I just stare at Brandon Graham and have the rest of list kind of a fade away after a minute?

Yeah, it wasn't a very good class. I like Schilling, Mouton, Minor, etc....but they came in with a bang and went out with a whimper. I had high hopes for them when they arrived. Stupidity and injuries really derailed them as a group.

  3. It seems like such a small offer list. Especially the offensive linemen.

It's only the information I could gather. I can't guarantee that it's a full list (in fact, I would bet that there are several names missing).

I can't wait until we get to the 1882 Offer Board, which includes the epic recruitment of Horace Prettyman. Legend has it that he was offered the first ever "full ride," which consisted of twelve pence per semester plus all the moustache wax he desired:

  7. Not a great group, some evidence recruiting was slipping in Lloyd's later years?

Such a shame B Minor was beset by injuries. I think '09 would have been different had he been healthy. Might have won 1-2 more games at least. IMO he was our best back, when healthy.

  8. Here a few more names stick out as real top level talent, but again, would be interesting to hear Magnus' (or someone else's) take on the quality of the guys we were offering overall per position.

Maybe see where our talent evaluation was adequate and where it left something to be desired.
