Salt Lake City FB Sione Houma battled through injuries his senior year, yet he still managed to rush for 790 yards on 93 carries (8.8 average) and eight touchdowns. With his injuries and senior year of football now behind him, Sione has his sights sets on Michigan as he looks to provide versatility and depth at the fullback position next year. I'll be talking with Sione later in the week, so leave a question in the comments section if you so desire, and I'll do my best to address it in the interview.
Have the coaches given any indication regarding immed. PT or Red Shirt next year? Is he past his injuries and fully healed up? IIRC, Sione is of Samoan heritage . . . are there other Samoan's he'd like to see Michigan recruit? A FB can block, run, and receive . . . roughly what percentage does Sione see each happening for himself?
Being from Utah, why Michigan? And how much weight does he plan on putting on over the next couple years? He's going to have to eat everything in sight.
Fullback is all about sacrificing without the glory. Is he prepared to be 2 inches shorter when he leaves U of M?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect your role to be like at fullback?
ReplyDeleteAlong these lines, how did the coaches say they would use him? If it seems like a less-than-glamorous role, why did he choose UM?

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think your full speed block would measure on one of those punch machines the Russian used to train in rocky IV?

ReplyDeleteWhat off-season workouts and diet are you doing to bulk up? Also, what weight have the coaches told you they want you to be at by Fall camp?
