Pre-Snap Readranks Nebraska #16 in the country. I could always be wrong, but seeing how Nebraska matched up in the Big Ten last year, I think Michigan (ranked #18) has the better unit.
Seriously, we beat them in just about every phase of that game. Our quarteback outpassed and outran their quarterback, Toussaint outclassed Burkhead, our defense outperformed their defense except for David, our defense held the without a third down conversion for 3 quarters, and our special teams shone that day. Not to mention they had more attrition than we did, not including the OL that recently left the program. They should be 5-8 places below us in the rankings no matter how you measure it.
I agree. Football is ultimately about matchups, and I see no reason Michigan won't dominate Nebraska again. By the same logic, I see the MSU game being very difficult. It's true that turnovers and lucky bounces can allow the inferior team to win, but I just don't share the trepidation of others about Nebraska, Lincoln or no.
