Former Michigan RB Sam McGuffie: McGuffie is now a full-time slot receiver for the spread offense at Rice. In a 49-24 loss to UCLA, he had 8 receptions for 63 yards and 1 touchdown.
Former Michigan WR/CB commit Dewayne Peace: Peace, now a wide receiver for the Houston Cougars, had 2 receptions for 13 yards in UH's 30-13 loss to Texas State.
Former Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez: Rodriguez won his first game as Arizona's head coach, a 24-17 victory over Toledo in overtime. The Wildcats had 624 total yards of offense.
Former Michigan WR Je'ron Stokes: Stokes, now playing for Bowling Green State University, had 4 receptions for 32 yards in BGSU's 27-14 loss to the Florida Gators.
Former Michigan S Ray Vinopal: Vinopal, a current teammate of Christian at Pitt, had 3 tackles in the 31-17 loss to Youngstown State.
McGuffie is (IMO) finally where he should be (slot receiver).

Stonum had 2 receptions and a td in Baylor's blowout over SMU. Both catches were in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure if he played earlier in the game.
ReplyDeleteClassic RR game: tons and tons of yards on offense, not that many points, no separation from the opponent.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a special "talent" to put up 624 yards of offense and score only 24 points.
