  1. I watch a lot of our commits highlights, his competition looks like some pretty high level teams. Does he play in a more powerful division there in NC?

  2. Yes. Highest level of competition in NC. His team has been a powerhouse the last few years. Lots of teammates going to D-I schools.

  3. That's encouraging. I like what I see except for his speed. To me, he looks fairly slow most of the time. On some occasions in traffic, he'll look quick/fast and then he seems to slow down again when he hits the open field. It certainly didn't affect his ability to cover. He seems to be in position with ease on all the plays on defense.

  4. While he isn't a burner, he still seems to have decent speed. He's 6'2 and takes long strides, which make him "look" slower. He's playing against good competion and players aren't tracking him down. The coaches watched him closely at camp and liked what they saw.

  5. He definitely does not have great speed, but I really like him as a player. I think he is reasonably quick-twich, has fluid hips, changes directions well, and plays smart. It looks like a kid that because of his relative lack of speed and playing for a program that regularly produces a bunch of D1 kids, was overlooked. This is a great EXAMPLE of what camps are for.
