Top 10 Posts of 2012

The year 2012 has been a good one for Touch the Banner, a year in which the blog's traffic has increased by over 41%.  Here's a look at the posts that have been read the most in the last 365 days.

1. In-State Preview of 2013 Recruiting: I posted this right after National Signing Day in February with a brief rundown of a lot of the top prospects in the state of Michigan.

2. Possible Position Changes for Roh, Beyer: A good old e-mail tip revealed that Roh and Beyer would change positions from their 2011 spots, from WDE to SDE and SAM to WDE, respectively.  Both of these moves came to fruition.

3. Scouting Report: Henry Poggi: I broke down some junior film from Maryland defensive tackle Poggi, who ended up committing to Michigan.

4. Sione Houma Answers Your Questions: Andrew interviewed incoming freshman fullback Sione Houma, who got a decent chunk of playing time on special teams.

5. Terry Richardson Answers Your Questions: Andrew also interviewed Richardson, who got a little bit of playing time early in the season but never cracked the regular lineup.

6. Visitors: December 14: Michigan had a huge list of visitors come to Ann Arbor in mid-December, a weekend that resulted in the commitments of David Dawson and Delano Hill, and also could reap the benefits of a couple more guys before National Signing Day.

7. Visitors: Michigan vs. Michigan State: Without a great deal of marquee matchups at home this year, the most impressive list of visitors came to town for the 12-10 win against the Spartans.

8. Tom Strobel Answers Your Questions: Andrew interviewed Strobel, who earned some practice praise but redshirted this past season.

9. James Ross Answers Your Questions: Andrew talked to James Ross, my personal choice for being the best recruit of the 2012 class.

10. Scouting Report: Ty Isaac: Unfortunately, this scouting report didn't result in a commitment like Poggi's.  Isaac committed to USC instead.

  1. Congrats on the site growth. The in-state recruiting preview is very informative - hope you do it again for '14.
