Thunder, you're a coach ... what's the mood for these very early practices? Nervousness that needs to be channeled? Over-confidence that needs to be tamed?
I think it's mostly nervousness. You want everything to go well, you want to make a good first impression, players want to win a starting job, and players want to be the guy the coach calls on first. I'm sure there are a few players who are overconfident, but starting something new is usually a little nervewracking for everyone.
Good stuff. Ir's nice to be in year three with a system. Beyond improving talent I would expect this to be the most productive spring we've had in a while.
