2015
Joshua McMillon - LB - Memphis (TN) Whitehaven: McMillon is a 6'3", 249 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, among many others. He's a 247 Composite 4-star, the #11 OLB, and the #182 player overall. Tennessee has done a good job of reeling in in-state prospects, and McMillon is the #6 player in the Volunteer State. Michigan is in the mix, but it's tough to pull talent out of SEC country.

Michael Weber - RB - Detroit (MI) Cass Tech: I wrote up a scouting report on Weber a few weeks ago. He has also recently visited Michigan State and Wisconsin.

2016
Mikale Washington - QB - Detroit (MI) King: Washington is a rising junior prospect who played his sophomore season at Dearborn (MI) Robichaud. He transferred to King this offseason and will be teammates with 2015 linebacker offeree Tyriq Thompson and Michigan State commit Kyonta' Stallworth. UPDATE: Washington visited Michigan for last weekend's spring game, but he will actually be visiting Michigan State this weekend.

  1. Magnus, please give an honest opinion of this question. What are Michigan's chances Lindsay plays and will it really give that much of a boost to a (lets be nice, but real) very average O-line?

    1. If Lindsay comes to Michigan, I believe he will start at center. And yes, I do think it will give a significant boost to the line. You can't run inside zone and power if your interior line isn't any good, and those are Hoke/Nussmeier's favorite plays. Lindsay could be Michigan's best lineman, and Glasgow might currently hold that title. So if our best two players are at center and guard with Magnuson healthy at tackle and some competition at the other two spots, that's a step in the right direction. I don't think there's any chance that the offensive line turns into a juggernaut this year, but I do believe Lindsay could help out significantly.
