  2. First I'd like to state that Hannah Polites is a beautiful woman. Thanks for the new multiple picture format. Also this is a nice breakdown by eleven warriors. How can hoke not understand that his line was too young and inexperienced to be successful in Borges's system. You would think he would be aware that the offense was too multiple and complicated for such young players to be successful at. Was it the unflinching trust he had in his buddy Borges or his faith in the players, that they would improve as the year went on and be able to grasp everything? I'm sure it was both. It's just a bit worrisome that they could be such a train wreck last year with so many key pieces returning in their offense. I understand he's not the micromanaging type but he has to be able to rain in his coordinators and let them know when things aren't working. He's the man in charge, the man making the top salary. You would think the basic philosophy of repetitiveness in Nussmeiers offense would be common knowledge among premier coaches. I just st don't think Hoke has the mind to be a consistently successful head coach. I think a lot of things have to go right for him to be successful. Clearly he requires great coordinators that can handle a larger responsibility and it seems that he also requires a senior laden team with good leadership. These things don't happen every year. Really good coaches can win with youth and with mediocre coordinators because they're smart enough to figure out a way how. We hired a mediocre coach because of his connection to the program and eagerness for the job. Unfortunately I think they had to hire him because there wasn't a great coach willing to take the job. Probably because they were smart enough to know it was a disaster. I believe hoke will have a few years of mild success due to his new hire and soon to be great leadership. I'm hoping that Michigan will fire him though and hire a great coach that can truly bring the program back to the top where it belongs.

  3. Yes...that dysfunctional UM offense that put up 40 on the bucksters last season--with a quarterback working off of one foot--will hardly be a problem at all in 2014. Keep on drinking the kool-aid bucknuts...

  4. A couple things. Hannah Polites is a beautiful woman. Thanks for the new multiple photo format. You just have to laugh at some of those gifs in the comments, we do it to ourselves. The rest of the comments wow! They're just so fucking easy to hate.
In regards to us. It would seem to me that the offensive philosophy Nussmeier believes in would be common knowledge amongst premier coaches. It really seems as though it should be required especially for teams with a young line. Borges was coaching the offense like it was filled with seniors with a wealth of experience. He had that at many key positions and probably figured the young guys would pick it up as the year went on but unfortunately it didn't happen. It's a shame because other than his inability to call the proper plays in key situations of the game he really ran a fun offense to watch. I loved the idea that they could run so many different offensive plays out of so many formations, but unfortunately the players weren't capable of executing them. This falls on Hoke and he made the changes he believes needed to be made. I hope this decision can get this offense on the right path and they can gradually improve as the year goes on due to a more consistent philosophy. But I don't know if they have the brute strength to get the push off the line they'll need to be successful this year. They're just too young and inexperienced. I hope Nuss is capable of adjusting, calling the right plays in the key situations of a game, and finding ways to win the game when the opportunity presents itself.
