MLive: Braylon Edwards says Michigan football lacks identity

The (too) outspoken Braylon Edwards has some opinions on Michigan football and Brady Hoke (LINK).

Hit the jump for some girls in two-pieces (which is not the same as "girls in two pieces," which would be gross).

  1. Braylon is dead right. This team has no toughness, no intensity, no chemistry and no pride. They flounder and struggle every week, even against poor teams, and they never, ever play over their heads in a big game. Brady Hoke does not have a single big win in four years, and this team is utterly incapable of one. He is hanging on by his fingernails right now, and will be very lucky to go 8-4, in spite of the talent he has.

  2. Just support the team Braylon, we all had your back when you were here, let's have you do the same now.

    1. Supporting the team and the program does not necessarily mean supporting Brady Hoke. It's becoming more clear with every game this year that Hoke is never going to get the job done here, and the more people with the courage to step up and say that, the sooner we can move on (again).

    2. It takes no courage to condemn Hoke, particularly as an anon. Actually, it's gutless.

Nor is it smart, as there is no viable replacement. Having demonstrated to the world that Michigan will not tolerate any coach, even a demonstrably great one that is not of the Saint Bo coaching tree, nobody in his right mind takes this job that is ready. And Harbaugh, ain't coming anytime soon.

Hoke is doing a great job recruiting, and despite what the fools think, is also developing kids on the fly as he is forced to play them, ready or not. This team is right on schedule. And as much as everyone, myself included wishes it was going faster, you don't almost completely whiff on two straight classes unscathed.

I'll say it again, your courage is faux, fraudulent ..... not, and you are gutless.

    3. As Hoke is the head coach of the program and arguably the most recognizable employee of the University of Michigan, supporting the program is indeed the same thing as supporting Hoke. The team is 2-1 with a loss to a pretty good program. It does no good to fracture after two or three games, because nothing can be done about it at this time.

  3. Can I support the team and still hope Dave Brandon is unemployed by Christmas?

  4. Hope its not lingering bitterness over his younger brother not being offered a scholarship...

  5. Can't stand Braylon anymore, but he's 100% right. It's year 4, and I still have no idea what this team is, or what they're trying to do.
