  1. What are your thoughts on all of the positive press messiah DeWeaver is getting... Do you like peters better?

    1. I did a scouting report on quarterbacks in February, and I had DeWeaver ranked slightly ahead of Peters. However, I think Peters is a better athlete and has more physical tools; he's just not as polished. Anyway, I'm not really surprised that DeWeaver is being ranked higher, since that's how I had him myself.

    2. Thanks! With that being said.. Who would rather have? I am assuming peters because of tools and better athlete?

    3. Not to put too much pressure on the kid, but Peters has some tools that are so similar to Andrew Luck, I think it's only natural to want him more. Both guys are tall, have strong arms, and are good all-around athletes. If Harbaugh can work some QB magic as far as cleaning up mechanics and such, I think Peters is the guy. I think DeWeaver is a little further along the track right now, but he just has a lower ceiling (arm strength, size, etc.).

  2. What happened to Dele Harding? A year ago, he was in the Top 200, now he's ranked outside the Top 250. Is Rivals just falling in line with the other recruiting services by ranking him lower and lower with each successive update in the rankings? Very weird.

    1. Well, usually kids ranked pretty high to begin with start to drop. It's only natural as more and more kids come out of the woodwork and start to be evaluated.

Also, I've never been very high on Harding, so I don't really think it's surprising or weird that he's dropping. I think he's a pretty average recruit.
