  2. Two things.

First E.J. Holland has been less than complimentary regarding Gattis' recent hustle on the recruiting trail. He's banged on him at least twice in the last week.

Then, do you remember discussing Joe Mixon's high school tape? You've been at this thing for a while now.

    1. Yeah, I really liked Mixon coming out of high school. Here are an interesting couple threads to look back on:

As for Holland, yeah, he's been down on Gattis for a while. I know E.J. busts his tail, and it seems like anyone who even appears to drop off for any stretch of time seems to lose E.J.'s respect. He's a grinder, and grinders don't respect non-grinders.

    3. Interesting take. He banged on him again today ... with some explanation this time.

Watched Mixon's tape again just now. Pretty much fun to watch at the high school level.

    4. Id EJ Holland the one where the story about Josh Gattis and Xavier Worthy's mom started? If it did start with him, I will give it credence.
That story has run wild. I hope whoever started it had real evidence. Because it is has done great harm to Josh Gattis' reputation.
Do you know if the story is true?

Where did E.J. bash Gattis yesterday? I looked on TheWolverine.com but I didn't see it.

I don't know if the Gattis/Worthy's mom thing is true. I mean, I'm not sure how anyone would know. I never saw Holland mention that. But Gattis did come out and threaten legal action against anyone who claimed that, so he was pretty vocal in his denial.

    6. It seems if it did happen Michigan would have fired him, or at least taken some disciplinary action, back when it happened. Since they didn't, it's hard to believe it's true.

  3. Is Michigan going to offer 6'7" 365 OT, from the State of Texas, Conner Stroh?
Minnesota has a serious eye on him.
