    1. Yep. But honestly, I feel like these games are not all they used to be cracked up to be. With early enrollment skyrocketing, NIL deals, etc., I just think focus has gone elsewhere. I'm not sure if the same number of high-profile players are participating.

    2. Like High School recruiting in general. One unremarkable semester and the guy you celebrated is off to Florida replaced by another guy who spent one semester at Nebraska. The guy who spent 3 years as an apprentice waiting for the OT ahead of him to be off to the NFL and then suddenly a 25 year old Stanford PHD is brought in instead. Welcome to the new CFB.

  2. Oops meant in the other game (that has been played) but I guess it's generally not a situation where linemen or LBs stand out.

  3. Speking of Ken Sabb,
where did he disappear to? And what about Kody Jones? I didn't hear his name all year.

    1. Both those guys played in four games this year and retained their redshirt.

    2. I think of red-shirts as Earned not retained. Generally by either inability (worst case) or not being ready (best case).

  4. Not that I know of, although I didn't watch the entire game.

  5. Great to see Corum back! The Valient collective is posting Zinter, Keegan, and Johnson as other potential returners. It's a new world.
