ReplyDeleteWith Countess committing today, do you think that this coaching staff will have done a commendable job filling in missing spots in the secondary as long as we get another safety or two to commit? I'm feeling pretty good about Crawford who I feel is underrated and Countess who has a great looking game film. Both of those two look like they could be impact players by the time they are Juniors.

ReplyDeleteI'll have a post up about Countess later today, but yes, I do think this staff is doing a nice job of recruiting defensive backs. The first couple commits were somewhat underwhelming, in my opinion, but the last two (Dallas Crawford, Blake Countess) are very solid.
I would like to see a commit from a strong safety like Wayne Lyons, but if all four cornerbacks stay committed, I'm guessing one will move to free safety.
