Yeah, there's a 4-second clock. Sometimes the ref counts aloud (one one thousand, two one thousand, etc.), sometimes he watches a stopwatch and blows a whistle at 4 seconds, and I've seen an electronic cradle for the ball that counts to 4 seconds after the QB picks it up out of the cradle.
If you don't throw it in time, you lose the down but don't lose any yardage.
It's hard to tell who's who out there(other than Shane). Do you know some of the Michigan commits #'s?
