Wow -- that's really generous (of them). Mario O. in the 5th round? It would be great if he developed that much in his last year, but I don't see it. (There are other similar examples.)
As is so often the case, I am struck by the incompetence of sports writers. If his lack of awareness of our roster is any indication, then what he says about other teams is worthless. For instance, James Ross may struggle for playing time this year, whereas Willie Henry has great pro potential. And I love James Ross, by the way.

I agree with SC Wolverine. Out of Michigan's players eligible for the draft I see Jake Butt and Willie Henry as having the greatest likelihood of being the first guys drafted from Michigan, possibly in the 3rd round area. If Michigan goes 8-4 or better I imagine a lot of that would be thanks to big years from these two guys, possibly bumping them up a bit into 2nd round territory.

ReplyDeleteMagnus. Brazil is in the middle of their bet bum bum contest and I believe you should have some coverage.
