Darqueze Dennard?
ReplyDeleteNah.
DeleteDennard should be on list !
ReplyDeleteYou had to know someone would ask: Is Funchess a TE?
ReplyDeleteFunchess is listed as a tight end on the roster, so that's where I ranked him.
DeleteWhile I agree that Dennard probably is over-rated, so is Roby from OSU. I think Roby has given up a ton of big plays. I guess I was expecting to see Dennard somewhere long before Roby. I also hope Ramon Taylor gets honorable mention at least since he quietly had a very solid year. The fact that so few Michigan players, especially on defense, show up on this list pretty much sums up the season.

I think JMFR has done enough in B1G play to earn third-team...thoughts?
ReplyDeleteThat list is just a reminder of how many good LB's the B1G has this year.
ReplyDeleteI think Dennard will be in the mix; Roby is certainly over-rated against talented WRs. I am surprised that you didn't put Ross somewhere in the mix, though.
ReplyDeleteUnoffical Depth chart for 2014????
ReplyDelete2014 depth chart???
ReplyDeleteWhether it's merited or not I think Bullough and Dennard will be first-teamers. Too much media hype.
ReplyDeleteMichigan is rather disappointingly under-represented, especially on defense, and I expect that will also hold with the official version. A bit too much trouble now to go back and do it, but it might have been interesting to see everyone's eligibility, just to get a sense of who's developing players the quickest. For us to take any kind of step up next year, an awful lots of guys are going to have to emerge out of nowhere (at least, off of this list).
ReplyDeleteHey, I think you're important big guy.
