In an effort to include everyone we are looking to invite all of our old coaches. I saw the article about Dennis Brown and thought you might have his phone number or way to reach him. I am also going to give you a list of all the coaches and ask if you could help us locate them. any help like even the city the now live in would be great. Thanks for any help you can provide and whoever you are you might want to cover this event. Should be a lot of fun. Here's the names: Tirrel Burton, Jerry Hanlon, Dick Hunter, Frank Maloney, George Mans, Gary Moeller, Larry Smith, Chuck Stobart, Jim Young, Frank Maloney, George Mans, Larry Smith, Jim Young, Dick Hunter
This guy Drew Harvey has speed and can get to one side to another so fast. It seems like he just grabs the guys without any effort. He's an natural football player! He an at athlete he play many positions. I saw his highlights on You Tube. Watch his You Tube.
The only advice that I have a colleges is don't sleep on drew Harvey this guy's an excellent football player / athlete this guy can play whatever position you put him in he's an athlete
The only way Green will live up to expectations is if Michigan's offensive line (or offense in general) can get to where it used to be during the Lloyd Carr years. He's not a guy who can create for himself, so he needs holes at the first level so he can wear down linebackers and defensive backs.
Do I think he can? Absolutely. He could easily be a 1,500-yard rusher if he's the bell cow.
Will he? No, I don't believe so. I think Ty Isaac is a better runner and overall athlete. I expect Isaac to get the most carries.
BTW, he is not the offensive player that I previously heard is leaving, although I had heard unconfirmed rumblings about him before. The other name is yet to come out.
Interesting...I have read that this is more academic (not taking finals) than football related. So another player could be leaving as well? Have you any insight to any more incoming players? I think 2 more spots are available as of now but I could be off.
That is what I read as well but was wondering if you heard anything different. I'm not a big Sam Webb fan but he does have some scoops every once in a while.

Thunder - what are you hearing about Norfleet?
ReplyDeleteI have heard that he is not coming back. He's likely transferring to another school to play football, but it's kind of a "mutual parting of ways."
DeleteBTW, he is not the offensive player that I previously heard is leaving, although I had heard unconfirmed rumblings about him before. The other name is yet to come out.

ReplyDeleteI am hearing there is more to it. Possibly knew his fate. That's why he skipped the exams.
DeleteThe only thing I've heard about is wide receivers. I think the guys at Rivals said there's a potential transfer from the west coast.
DeleteI am hearing there could be as many as 7 more departures. (2) medical and (5) transfers. Does anyone have any insight on this? Which players?
ReplyDeleteI guess we can add Countess to the list!
DeleteThunder Sam Webb is reporting that Norfleet is just suspended not dismissed. Any idea on whether that is the case or not?
ReplyDeleteMy understanding is that he is leaving the program. His former high school coaches have said as much, too.
