To have so many underclassman declare for the draft the last few years is unprecedented at Michigan. Welcome to success in college basketball as we know it today. NIT here we come.shaking head, then fist!
We'll see about the NIT. Every good program loses underclassmen to the NBA draft. Kentucky, Duke, UConn, Ohio State, Michigan State, etc. At this point I don't think Michigan will be able to return to the Elite Eight, but LeVert and Irvin can score, there are some good role players (Albrecht and Walton, who could very well develop), and there are some good freshmen coming in. I wouldn't write them out of the NCAA Tournament just yet.
Losing 3 talented sophomores. It's not like we're dead in the water.
