Michigan and Alabama don't always cross paths in recruiting, so I wanted to go back and watch highlights of some of the stars of Monday's national championship game. So here are a few of the guys who really stood out for Alabama and Ohio State.
Devonta Smith - WR - Amite (LA) Amite: Smith was a 4-star, the #9 wide receiver, and #62 overall in the 2017 class.
Hit the jump for a few more highlight reels.
Mac Jones - QB - Jacksonville (FL) Bolles School: Jones was a 3-star, the #18 pro-style quarterback, and #399 overall in 2017.
Najee Harris - RB - Antioch (CA) Antioch: Harris was a 5-star, the #1 running back, and #2 overall in the 2017 class.
Patrick Surtain II - CB - Plantation (FL) American Heritage: Surtain was a 5-star, the #1 cornerback, and #6 overall in the class of 2018.
Justin Fields - QB - Kennesaw (GA) Harrison: Fields was a 5-star, the #1 dual-threat quarterback, and #2 overall in 2018.
On a side note:
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Mike Zordich really is gone.
Supposedly a pro DB coach is headed to Michigan.
Oh, and Will Muschamp is not going to be the DC, as some were thinking is going to happen.
