After studying his film (LOL watching a highlight video) I can see why there are skeptics about him sticking at QB. Nonetheless I'm intrigued to see what path his career will take.
There's too many plays with open check downs that he passes over (and I don't think he even looks at those check downs), and instead throws a 50/50 long ball. Is he the next Zach Gentry, a great running QB that is switched to TE?
/Maybe Matt Weiss will work with him and get him to look at the check downs. But it seems more like Mike Hart will be mostly with him. Could he be moved around like Chase Winovich? Is he an EGDE type?

ReplyDeleteI don't think he's a TE at his height. Gentry was 6'7" or 6'8". Orji is about 6'2". I guess he could be a FB type.
DeleteI think if Orji moves anywhere, it will probably be to LB, kind of like Mike Barrett (but bigger).
