  1. Meh.

I don't like that game speeded up anymore than I did in real time.

  2. Any thoughts? I'm not overly impressed with Old Jake there. While his overall numbers and experience certainly mean a lot, I think Morris has more upside and if the receivers can learn to catch a few more of Morris's passes his stats don't look so outrageous. Personally I hope Morris figures it out and is the starter so we have him for two years......and I just hope he works out.

    1. I think it's important to remember that this was from Rudock's first year as a starter, his redshirt sophomore season. He was somewhat improved as a redshirt junior last year.

I don't think we're going to be extremely impressed with Rudock. He is not a savior - not a Chad Henne or Andrew Luck. He's a game manager. I don't want to say that's what we "need" because we need a dynamic quarterback, but what we've been getting from Morris and what we saw from Malzone in the spring game won't cut it if we want to see 8-ish wins, which I think is possible.

I'm not really looking for "impressive." I'm looking for "satisfactory" or "competent."
