  1. Giles Jackson is a RB though πŸ™„

    2. JE will tell you I said Giles Jackson was a RB not a WR. I said he was a hybrid RB/WR who might be better as a RB because he wasn't much of a receiver in 2020. Meanwhile, the indisputable fact is this...

Giles Jackson played RB. At the University of Michigan.

      Alabama vs Michigan Citrus Bowl.
2nd drive of the game, 1st down.
Giles Jackson lines up at RB and catches a pass for a 7 yard gain
Jackson subs out, Haskins subs in.
2nd down. Haskins runs for 3 yards, 1st down.
Haskins subs out, Jackson subs in.
1s down. Jackson runs it up the gut for 3 yards.
Haskins subs in. Play action pass to McKeon

      Receipts.

Also this was mentioned many times in his recruiting profile:
      https://mgoblog.com/content/hello-giles-jackson

"The 2019 recruit was uncoverable with his quick first step, showing the explosiveness you want to see in a slot running back type"

"He can play running back or receiver in college "

"He’s extremely versatile and can play running back, slot receiver or even cornerback/nickel on the defensive side of the bal"

"primarily a running back as a junior so he’ll need some time to get up to speed on running the full route tree."

"Jackson was very much a running back in his junior year but was a receiver the year prior:"

"Jackson is a weird pull for Michigan, which already has APB Eric Gray and QB-who-projects-to-slot George Johnson III in the class. That would be a waterbug surplus at Oregon, let alone one of the fullbackiest programs in all the land. Gray has a couple of SEC visits set and may be a flip candidate. In that case the Jackson acquisition makes more sense.

It's still a bit odd. Michigan has had a few shifty playmaker types in the post-Rich-Rod era and barely used them. Chris Evans is the only gent of that variety to have more than a token role. If Michigan's move to more of a shotgun orientation has some post-Patterson staying power, and if Jackson catches the eye sufficiently as a running back, and if Michigan does actually throw the ball to Evans a bunch over the next couple years, then you can project a meaty role for Jackson. That's a lot of ifs."

Note the context here is Eric Gray (an NFL RB) and Chris Evans (an NFL RB).

Giles Jackson played WR at Michigan and plays WR at Washington. He was and is not a difference maker at the position. But the key point here -- that doesn't prevent him from being a good RB. This should be obvious to anybody with eyeballs watching Donovan Edwards. You can be good at both!

So, eyeroll emoji, to JE arguing with himself, pretending to take a win from an argument 3 years ago, but completely unaware he's just wrong again. Year 6!

The facts are the facts. Jackson played RB in high school. Jackson played RB at Michigan. Jackson played and plays WR.

These are not mutually exclusive especially for anyone who watched Woodson, Peppers, Hudson, Sainristil, Edwards, etc. and on and on. They were not mutually exclusive 3 years ago which around the time I started living in JE's head rent free.

Still waiting for that one quote. The ONE time you got me. Maybe you can find it for Giles Jackson JE? LOL

    3. Another essay, nothing said

What did UM list Jackson as?
What does Washington lost him as?
      How many targets & catches?
      How many carries?

WTF does an MGoBlog projection prove? You're misleading again!
      What did they call him?
      https://mgoblog.com/content/giles-jackson-transfer-portal

What did they project Barrett as, who played QB in HS?
And what position does he play?

WTF does an occasional lineup cha ge Lank? Nothing, unless you want to call Tom Brady a WR πŸ˜‚

    4. JE you argue with air. Nobody said Jackson wasn't a WR.

You lie - so you accuse someone else of lying.

Nebraska thread? You didn't prove me wrong once. You said A LOT but not once did you have a quote and not once did you prove me wrong. You tried. But you failed. Interjecting yourself in a convo that doesn't involve you to argue that CJ Stokes played one snap. Of course you were wrong there too. Wrong every time.

      No quotes. Not one.

LankOctober 16, 2023 at 11:55 AM wrote "CASE CLOSED" in that Nebraska thread ... are you now denying it? Or, are you denying that you have posted dozens of times on the same topic since, across multiple threads?

    9. LOL JEmoji.

Yep I used those words and you didn't prove them wrong. It's not even a sentence! You don't know what those 2 words mean. You couldn't, if you tried your hardest, explain to someone else what "case closed" refers to. Could you?

I can only assume, case closed means something to you. Whatever strawman you've invented. Perhaps it means you can't ever talk about the fact that for example in 2019 you said Joe Milton would transfer if Shea Patterson made it through the season healthy. Of course you were wrong and Joe Milton stayed and Dylan McCaffrey (who no one talked about transferring in his 2019 posts) transferred. That was CASE CLOSED in 2020. But in your world mentioning it again - what? undoes it somehow?

LOL. Too small JEmoji. Every accusation (e.g., lies!) is an admission of guilt.

Homework of the day for you. Google "case law" and "legal precedent". Your public defender probably never explained that to you at sentencing.
