Jalen Tabor - CB - Washington, D.C.

  1. Know what the rating is based on? I haven't been paying close attention, but I would've expected DaShawn Hand and Dante Booker to be first team kids, unless it's off of regular season performance, and not their potential as college prospects.

    1. I think it's largely based on production and college potential, since you find kids at podunk schools who put up huge numbers but will never set foot on an FBS football field.

But Da'Shawn Hand didn't have a very productive season. He's going to be a defensive end in college, but he was playing nose tackle for his high school.

  2. Id like to see Michigan get a elite pass rusher in next years class. Can Malik fill that roll?

    1. I don't think McDowell is an elite pass rusher. Most elite pass rushers are weakside end types. He'll play the strongside end or even the 3-tech defensive tackle spot. It's a little harder to get one-on-one opportunities from the SDE position. He could be a guy who could get 6 or 7 sacks, but probably not a Clowney-like player.
