2014 ESPN True Freshman All-America Team

Mason Cole
ESPN put together a freshman All-America team (LINK) that includes several names that will be familiar to Michigan fans, not only from watching college football, but also following recruiting. All four members of the secondary were recruited by Michigan. The team also includes Michigan left tackle Mason Cole, who started every game this season.

  2. Cole looks small. It is a shame he could not Red Shirt this year. Oh well, he should stay another 4 yrs for sure now.

  3. Thank you for all your write-ups and Merry Christmas! Have a question regarding Cole and Magnuson. So what do you think going forward? Before this season, Cole was projected as a guard, and Magnuson was supposed to be the LT. We all know what happened, Mag was injured during spring and Cole showed up and took the LT spot. Given their size/body, will they switch back, or Cole will be the LT for the next 4 years? Will that hurt their respective draft chance? What do you think? If you are Mag, will you consider transferring? (given he came to UM for Hoke...and now may not be the LT)
