It's not hard to avoid drinking and driving. Unless, of course, you are Jim Minick (allegedly). Here's the LINK. It's pretty hard to hold the moral high ground over Graham Glasgow when you make the same stupid mistakes as an administrator.
Hit the jump for a couple good looking brunettes and an Asian bikini wearer.
Thunder, what's your take on this?
ReplyDeleteI know he is already suspended. I assume they will let the legal process play out. If this is a first time offense, most (not all) district courts have standard plea bargain involved in these cases (fines, suspended licenses, etc)
The one statement from Harbaugh mentioned that Minick "was intoxicated"
I am starting to think this guy may eventually just resign (mutual decision type thing), because he was supposed to be an authority figure and his actions are careless.
I agree with you. My understanding with Minick is that he was supposed to somewhat of a disciplined, moral authority figure. Those types of people should not be getting arrested for DUI-type stuff. The program should allow him a chance to prove himself in court, but if he's guilty, I think a "resignation" would be in order. I would not be at all surprised to see him resign before the legal process plays itself out, because he already knows the truth.
DeleteHe needs to resign and in terms of discipline and moral-authority the military is pretty good except for one thing. There's a big-time alcohol culture that, while it isn't as much of a problem anymore, still exists and it's very much a thing that connected people and "performers" will get DUI's swept under the rug, which leads to people not taking them as seriously and then watching anyone not on the inside get HAMMERED for a DUI in order to maintain the tough on DUI image. Minick may have figured since he was connected all would be well. Either way it's dumb and he has to go.
DeleteAny idea who the first gal is?
ReplyDeleteNo idea, but she looks pretty good.
DeleteI don’t know why he is still with them. I think everyone needs to get their act together for this alcohol culture to stop. My sister is an intern with a Los Angeles DUI attorney and she was telling me that almost every week her boss is handling DUI charge of some celebrity or sports personality which I was quite shocked to hear about.
