ADDED TO THE BOARD
Lincoln (NE) East defensive end Malachi Coleman decommitted from Nebraska. Coleman is a 6'5", 205 lb. athlete who is a 4-star, the #4 athlete, and #68 overall in the class. He will be taking an official visit to Ann Arbor on December 16.
Michigan offered Cal Poly tight end Josh Cuevas. Cuevas is a 6'5", 245-pounder who made 8 catches for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns this fall.
Lexington (KY) Frederick Douglass defensive tackle Jamarrion Harkless decommitted from Auburn. He's a 3-star, the #90 defensive lineman, and #831 overall.
A new offer went out to Coastal Carolina outside linebacker/defensive end Josaiah Stewart, a 6'2", 235 lb. prospect who had 12.5 sacks as a true freshman in 2021. He followed that up with just 3.5 this fall, but the potential is still there. Michigan also offered him out of high school.

Bakersfield (CA) Liberty defensive tackle Grant Buckey committed to UCLA. He was previously committed to USC.
St. Louis (MO) Cardinal Ritter wide receiver Marvin Burks, Jr. flipped from Ole Miss to Missouri.

Ironton (OH) Ironton running back Jaquez Keyes decommitted from Wisconsin in the wake of the hiring of Luke Fickell as the new head coach in Madison.
Gilbert (AZ) Highland offensive tackle Caleb Lomu committed to Utah. He and Fano were two players Michigan was targeting hard for a spot in the recruiting class.
El Campo (TX) El Campo running back Rueben Owens II decommitted from Louisville after coach Scott Satterfield took off for Cincinnati. He's a 5-star, the #2 running back, and #23 overall in the 247 Composite. Later in the same day, he committed to Texas A&M.
Glen Ellyn (IL) Glenbard West offensive tackle Chris Terek flipped from Wisconsin to Notre Dame.
I am surprised Michigan offered a TE who only has 8 catches for the yr and he didn’t even play in Div 1.
ReplyDeletehe didnt, i think those stats were pulled from 1 game. he had like 60 catches for 600 yds. so not explosive play type but apparently a solid overall young TE.
Deleteinterested to see if michigan drops any current commits as they usually do. they accepted commits from a few questionable athletes at skill positions plus 2 defenders dont appear to be michigan level athletes. not trying to trash any specific guys by name, just curious how they close this class on back to back playoff appearances. the staff develops well however most of the all conference impact types are coveted prospects.
