This is a feature I started last year, with the ten longest plays against any particular opponent. I didn't break it out last week since Michigan had never played East Carolina before, and now the opponent is UNLV, whom Michigan has only played once. So each of the following plays will take you back to 2015, when Michigan won by a score of 28-7.

ReplyDeleteIt was boring because, much like ECU, it was a team from far away with no story lines and no history. Michigan had never played UNLV before, didn't have roster crossover, etc. And then it also was 28-7, so there wasn't a ton of scoring, but it wasn't a tight game, either. Just a ho-hum win.
DeleteBut in Harbaugh's first year (2015), a win was a win after the Brady Hoke slide.
These days we all want to free Harbaugh. Of course we do - fighting for freedom is easy these days. Players, coaches, fans all agree. But back in 2015 TTB was at the forefront of movement with it's vociferous defense of Ty Isaac and the calls to release him from the shackles of his bench role. That's real leadership.
