2024 Ex-Wolverine Updates: Post-season

Here's a roundup of the former Michigan commits and how they did this past season.

FORMER COMMITS

DE Collins Acheampong (UCLA): Acheampong has yet to play any college snaps after two years, one with Miami and this past season with the Bruins.

LB Aaron Alexander (Michigan State Arkansas State): Alexander made 3 tackles this past season playing for the Spartans and has since transferred to Arkansas State.

WR Markus Allen (Eastern Michigan): The former Wisconsin Badger was EMU's second leading receiver with 43 catches for 651 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is now in the transfer portal.

DE Ethan Burke (Texas): Burke has made 26 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 interception (returned 30 yards for a touchdown), 4 pass breakups, and 1 blocked kick this season.

DE Kevonte Henry (Cerritos College Alabama): Henry made 20 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery while playing for Cerritos College. He signed with Alabama as a transfer in December.

LB Tyler Martin (UMass): Martin made 27 tackles and 2 tackles for loss while playing in twelve games.

OG Micah Mazzccua (Nebraska): Mazzccua started three games (two at right guard, one at left tackle) and played in eight games total. He notched a PFF grade of 65.4.

DT Davonte Miles (BGSU): Miles made 12 tackles and 1 tackle for loss this season.

TE Andrew Rappleyea (Penn State): Rappleyea played in just one game this season, returning 1 kickoff for 5 yards.

S Myles Rowser (Arizona State): Rowser made 98 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 5 pass breakups, and 2 quarterback hurries this season.

DE Elias Rudolph (Miami): Rudolph played just four snaps this season for Miami.

DE Jacob Smith (Kentucky): Smith played just fourteen snaps this season for Kentucky.

LB Jaden Smith (Kentucky): Smith played in two games as a nickel and assisted on 1 tackle.

DT Jerod Smith (Kentucky): Smith played 54 snaps across nine games this season, making 7 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss.

DT Joel Starlings (North Carolina): Starlings made 1 tackle while playing in three games for the Tarheels.

DT Alex VanSumeren (Michigan State): VanSumeren made 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks while playing in twelve games for the Spartans.

DT Denver Warren (Sam Houston State): Warren made 25 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 2 pass breakups, and 1 quarterback hurry in thirteen games this past year.

LB Raylen Wilson (Georgia): Wilson made 47 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 pass breakup, and 1 quarterback hurry while playing in fourteen games with one start.

  1. Myles Rowser is an outstanding box safety, you wish he was better at choosing his friends. I can see him bouncing around the league for a time.
