MLive: Hoke is out of answers

Nick Baumgardner has a pretty harshly worded takedown of Brady Hoke (LINK). I've never been a real fan of Baumgardner, and I'm even less of one with his treatment of Hoke. There's a certain level of objectivity that a reporter should have, and Baumgardner crosses that line when he starts criticizing Hoke to the level he has.

Hit the jump for a few good looking girls, including a nice gif.

  1. Poorly written and pretty unprofessional IMO. Not that I disagree with most of it, but there's just no substance there. Barely more cogent than your typical Anon comment.

    1. Wow, now that's an ignorant statement! You might not agree with the anon comments, but just because they are anon comments doesn't make them any less coherent than some of your asinine comments on here.

    2. It's not BECAUSE they're Anon comments. It's because the people who choose to post anonymously tend to not put as much thought or effort into their posts as the people who see their comments as worth signing.

Anon comments are generally not very intelligent, though there are certainly exceptions. You're welcome to disagree, but my observation is not based on ignorance but rather experience.

      This is poor logic BLOG.

I think removing the Anon capability would reduce the noise, but as your comments make clear, it would not eliminate them.

  2. I love your site and reading your stuff. Why do you link the Mlive stuff? I have always felt that they basically find a negative spin to everything or a new negative headline to post.

Its funny how people keep wanting to say Michigan is irrelevant, but continue to write about them only because we have a national following. The media could easily pick at Michigan State in the same ways, but instead continually will make excuses for guys like Izzo who has been failing miserably against Michigan. As much as the praise Michigan State football gets, at the same time, the media likes to ignore that Michigan has the better basketball program right now.

Its funny the narrative despite Michigan owning the basketball rivalry.

    1. I link the MLive stuff because they're the most consistent news outlet to write about Michigan football. There are typically a few articles per day, at least, about Michigan football. I rarely/never post links to the Free Press, and I post links to the Detroit News whenever I find something interesting there.

  3. Not sure what the problem is with the article. It accurately summarizes the last game as a microcosm of the entire season and ends by saying Hoke needs to leave for the program to improve. Can't disagree with a thing. This program is an empty shell of what it used to be. People attending Michigan these days have no idea how good we used to be and all they witness is complete incompetence and bumbling coaching week in and week out. That is sad.
