2014 Bronko Nagurski Award watch list

The 2014 Bronko Nagurski Award watch list has been released, and there are a few Michigan players on the list, plus some other notable players from the Big Ten, other opponents, and Michigan's recruiting. Charles Woodson (1997) is the only Michigan player to have won the award, which is given to the nation's best defensive player.

  1. Loved the hit and was amazed Braxton didn't fumble. Hopefully Clark will swing through the ball or drive his helmet into his chest and cause a fumble.

    1. Modern QB play just amazes me. These guys take ridiculous hits, hold onto the ball, and pop right back up again. And it used to be something special/rare when a college QB would improvise and deliver under intense pressure. Now they do it on every other play.

    2. I was actually going to comment to post this very thing. I remember watching the hit live and being impressed - watching it in slow motion makes it nearly amazing. Look at Braxton's nearly instantaneous reaction to protect the ball! I hate praising a Buckeye but good lord - the ball quite literally doesn't move even a smidge.

    1. I still can barely believe he did. When Clark made that hit I was sure we were going to see the ball come out that second, but it barely moved. Credit to Braxton
