  1. What's the current outlook on the in-state kids? 106 Corley, 118 Jordan, 166 Onwenwu, 247 Kareem, 250 Lukusa? Odds of flipping Hayes or Hill?

    1. I can't speak for the future. You know, if Harbaugh starts convincing some studs from out of state to come or if he starts winning games, things could change. But here's what it looks like as of right now:

Michigan is playing from behind for all of these guys except maybe Michael Jordan. Kareem committed to MSU (for a couple days), Lukusa recently had Michigan outside his top four, Onwenu seems more interested in MSU/OSU, and Corley didn't have Michigan in his top four. Hayes has strongly stated that he wants to get out of the midwest altogether.

We have a stronger chance of flipping Hill, I believe. I think he got caught up in the excitement of visiting PSU, but with his brother at Michigan and the potential to stay in-state, there's a chance.

It's not looking like a great class within the state, though. For example, I don't think Onwenu and Lukusa are top-300 players, and the number of offers Kareem has received has left me scratching my head a little bit. Hayes basically hasn't played football in two years because of injury/transfer, so I don't know why he's rated so highly by some people. Then again, I haven't seen much film on him since pre-injury his sophomore year, so maybe he's just that impressive when you see him in person...
