Tom VanHaaren talks with Toledo (OH) Central Catholic quarterback DeShone Kizer, a 2014 prospect who could be in line for an offer from Michigan if they like what they see.

    1. I don't think Morris will have much of an effect. There's a very good chance that Morris will play as a true freshman, and Kizer could potentially redshirt. That would put two years between Morris and Kizer. Regardless, I think if Michigan offers, the Wolverines will be very difficult to beat out. My guess is he'll end up at Michigan or Ohio State.

  2. Thunder-Mag ( BTW which do you prefer on this Blog?) how would you compare and contrast Kizer and the QB ( I can’t remember his name..Chance?) out of Michigan in 2014?

    1. Either moniker is fine.

      I'm guessing you're talking about Chance Stewart. Stewart is a big, tall, fairly immobile kid with a strong arm. Kizer is a smaller (but not small), mobile kid with a so-so arm. For a Michigan slant, you might compare Stewart to John Navarre and Kizer to Russell Bellomy.
