Video: President Obama Visits the University of Michigan

It's always satisfying to hear the President of the United States talk about Michigan football and say, "Go Blue!" so here's full video of Barack Obama's address at the Al Glick Field House in Ann Arbor on Friday. Please be advised to stop watching at the 3:18 mark if you're only interested in hearing about Michigan athletics.

  1. Obama is an incredibly polarizing figure. Any chance you could keep politics out of Michigan football? Thanks.

    1. You were warned at the top of the post not to watch past the 3:18 mark if you weren't interested in politics. Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America, so I think it's noteworthy when he speaks at the University of Michigan and talks about Michigan athletes.

No positive or negative comments were made about Obama himself or his politics, so this is about as neutral a post as you can expect.

So to answer your question . . . no, we won't keep politics out of Michigan football if posting a speech at U of M counts as "politics" to you.
