NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

Marell Evans (#9) will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will be played on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 3:00 p.m.  Michigan linebacker Marell Evans will be participating, despite being ineligible this past season after transferring back to Michigan from Hampton.

  1. There will be no NFL scouts at this game. Hopefully the players enjoy their experiences nonetheless.

  2. That's strange. I read that 50 or so NFL scouts would be at the Casino Del Sol contest. I bet that a few end up attending or at least watching the tape. Should be fun for Evans either way since he was ineligible last year.

  3. It's because there are draft-eligible juniors playing in the game. NFL scouts are not permitted to interact with draft-eligible juniors.

    1. No problem. I used to want to be an agent so I know the rules pretty well. I thought this was going to be an issue when they first announced the bowl and it turned out to be right.
