This article from the
New York Times blog "The Fifth Down" can easily be applied to recruiting, but mostly it talks about
the redundant and vapid analysis by draft "experts." There are always some guys who should be respected for their knowledge or, at least, their time put into doing the homework. But lots of the talking heads on television - or magazine writers, newspaper columnists, etc. - have no idea how to begin analyzing football players for the NFL Draft.
