As physical as college football is, it can't hold a candle to the NFL when it comes to physical play.
The one idea that has been repeated over and over and ever again by NFL defensive coaches this whole off season regarding defending the spread, "We're gonna hit your Quarterback" I believe will quickly end the spread's appeal for professional football teams.
I personally love the spread and it's many different approaches. I think it's the most fun thing to have happened to football in a generation.
BUT ..... the pros are so big, so strong, so fast and so tough, if they don't get your guy this week, they'll get him next week, if if not next week, soon enough, even if it's by attrition.
